Title: Territory Sales Manager
Location: REMOTE/HOME OFFICE: Cincinnati, Dayton, OR Columbus, OH
Pay Range: $55K-$60K Base + Commission/Bonus (OTE $85K-$90K+)

Our client is a leading distributor of wholesale residential and commercial building materials who has been steadily growing, especially over the last 5 years. This is a crucial position for them as the territory is a hot bed for the company with significant growth potential and there is a need for a fully dedicated presence in the area to regularly call on the residential and commercial dealer networks.

Position Summary

  • Build and maintain new and existing client relationships in assigned territory to ensure market stability and growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory by utilizing a variety of sales strategies.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers to showcase product features and benefits.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with regional and corporate sales teams to maximize and grow revenue and profits.
  • Continuously improve product knowledge by engaging with internal and external experts.
  • This is a very strong territory for the company with substantial established and potential business and the opportunity for upward mobility within the organization by performing here.
  • Reports to Regional Manager.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in sales of building materials.
  • 2+ years outside B2B sales experience with proven track record of sales success.
  • 1+ year customer-facing, outside B2B sales experience preferably in the building materials space.
  • Knowledge of the Cincinnati/Dayton/Columbus, OH Market.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who can work autonomously and in a team environment with excellent follow-up skills.
  • Excellent communication ability, both verbal and written.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to doing what is right and fair for all involved.
